Re: li-fene, it follows the "little word" construction as instructed in
HCM. However, it now appears as its own dictionary entry (albeit with a
parenthetical explanation of lamed + panim). Joan, should our practice
be changed to lifne?
Barry, regarding a preposition being an "integral part", as far as I
know it doesn't make a difference; unless the word with the preposition
appears on its own in the dictionary, it's still considered a "little
word" and is separated from the main word with a hyphen.
