Hello, Kristin,


Given current trends around "trans" issues, I think helping students see 
how very prescient Woolf was about how limiting a strict binary system 
can be for some individuals might be a way to make her completely germane.

I also liked showing them the article that came right after the movie 
aired, showing the young woman who played Orlando in bed with her 
boyfriend--just so we'd KNOW she was just playing a part.
