Chair Selection Process

Dear Fellow Physics Staff Members,                    (cc to members of the Selection Committee)

The process for selecting the next Department Chair is now established and was recently and formally presented to faculty.

By way of this message, the selection committee now wishes to share this same information with staff.

Please find attached a presentation that explains the selection process in detail.

It is foreseen that staff can, should, and will have substantial input to the chair selection process.

Small groups of staff, or individual staff, who wish to meet one-on-one with a committee member or with the Chair of the committee should respond to this e-mail with their request and a suitable meeting date and time will be arranged.
