[CRITICAL] Air Handler 2 back online

Air Handler 2 (AHU-2) and its corresponding main exhaust fans EF4, EF5, EF6 which serves the lab side, north end of PRB are back online and normal operating parameters have resumed.

The cause of the outage was a loss of control system compressed air that closed the main inlet damper and triggered a shutdown interlock.

A shorted wire was found in the power feed connection to the control compressor.

Replacement parts will be ordered and a final repair will be made at a later time.

A temporary air compressor was placed in service and will remain until the main compressor repair is completed.

Labs served by AHU-1 (south end) saw elevated temperatures during this outage due to a combination of control-related factors that will be resolved in the planned outage taking place on Saturday.
