Jackie Chini is joining the OSU Dept. of Physics!

Hi Everyone,

I am delighted to let everyone know that Dr. Jackie Chini just accepted our offer of a faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor with tenure in our department! Her scholarship is focused on Physics Education Research. She will be joining our department Aug. 15 of 2024. Please be sure to welcome her. She will be around during this coming year before she officially joins the department.

A huge thank you goes to: (i) Andrew Heckler, who chaired the tenure review committee, (ii) the tenure review committee: Lei Bao, Dick Furnstahl, and Jon Pelz, and (iii) Ruth Leonard, who organized the visits, talks, and other logistics.

Running a successful faculty recruitment is a tremendous amount of work. I am grateful to everyone that helped make this a successful search.
