JD Wear absence - please use action email!

JD Wear will be out on leave starting May 30 for several weeks. Because of reduced coverage, it is even more important than usual to report problems or ask questions via action at physics.osu.edu<mailto:action at physics.osu.edu> or asctech at osu.edu<mailto:asctech at osu.edu>, which create tickets for tracking.

Terry Bradley and I will be here most of that time, but inevitably one of us may be out on a given day for personal reasons. We have plans to make sure there is coverage in 1199. We also have arranged backup coverage from our ASCTech colleagues to help us while we are short-staffed. You may receive responses to tickets from one of our colleagues, including Brian Smith, Aris Cachuela, John-David Slaughter, Jim Harmon, David Lawson, and James Boyd.  On some days when only one of us is on campus, one of them will be in PRB 1199 from 1-3 PM. The ticket system will ensure that all of them are fully informed and can respond to the Physics Department's needs more effectively.
