Topic: Dr. Catherine Nettles Cutter, Professor and Food Safety Extension Specialist in the Department of Food Science at Penn State University and Phi Tau Sigma Lifetime Member

will present “Recent Research Developments in the Cutter Lab: Controlling Spoilage Microbes and Pathogens in Foods.” She will discuss recent projects from her laboratory that encompass a mix of food microbiology and Extension-related (human subjects) research to address important food safety and food quality issues. The information will be targeted to graduate students, food scientists, food microbiologists, food packaging specialists, and Extension educators.
