[OACRAO] Assessment

Hello Alissa,

A few of the assessment projects we have done are:


   - One thing we are trying to do is to digitize our forms.  For example,
   we have added a graduation petition as a Google Form.  To us, the project
   is successful when more learners are utilized the digital form.
   - The registrar's office handles the certification of veterans
   educational benefits.  One assessment project used a Compliance Survey
   Findings/Discrepancies and develop an action plan to prevent the same
   Findings in the future, and then assess.
   - Another project was a collaboration with another department.  Our SIS
   is Banner, and we decided to roll courses (based on a specific part of
   term) for a department that their courses were not rolled to the next
   term.  We tried it and it appeared to make a difference for them.

We have done student surveys in the past.  Nowadays, assessment is focused
on streamlining processes, collaboration, and compliance.
