[OACRAO] Graduation Application Policy

Janet:

I send the notice in early September and our policy is *Applications
<https://secure.heidelberg.edu/graduation> are accepted for undergraduate
and graduate students eligible to be a December, May, or August graduate.
The application deadline is October 14th and applications received after
this date will incur a late fee of $25.00 to the student's account.*

If a student is not enrolled and finishes work off-campus but applies after
the deadline, I do not charge the late fee. We allow applications up until
the day of graduation. It's not a big deal for us but it does take work to
get them on all of the lists we have. A lot of details are sent over the
months leading to graduation so a student usually realizes at some point
they missed the deadline. Our problem audience is grad students so we send
reminders to the program directors.
