[Intl_DxMedPhys] Consulting Medical Physics position

Medical Physics Consultants, Inc (MPC) is a diagnostic medical physics
consulting group with offices in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and
Utah. We have been providing Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology,
and Medical Health Physics consulting services for 45+ years. We have 40+
MS/PhD level physicists, with physicists certified by the ABR, ABMP,
ABNM, and ABHP.

We have a position available in Michigan (Ann Arbor Office) for a medical
physicist or medical health physicist trained in diagnostic radiological
physics.  One of our senior physicists is retiring after 40+ years with MPC.
Duties include regulatory compliance inspections, acceptance and
performance testing of diagnostic radiology instrumentation, and
accreditation testing. We have a CAMPEP diagnostic residency program,
and the position includes resident teaching.
While some travel will be necessary, we hire our physicists with the express
intent of working mainly within the state in which they reside. We are a
family-oriented company.

Requirements:
Graduate Degree in Medical Physics or Health Physics
ABR or CHP certification or eligibility
5+ years of experience performing diagnostic medical physics/health physics
in a clinical setting
Experience with diagnostic imaging equipment, radiation shielding design,
regulatory inspections and hospital accreditation programs
Experience testing CT and MRI systems is essential
Working knowledge of Microsoft office
Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well are a must
Must be able to work independently and as a team member
