[Intl_DxMedPhys] Diagnostic Medical Physics Faculty Position at Augusta University

We are looking for a Diagnostic Medical Physicist to join our Medical Physics section in the Department of Radiology and Imaging at Augusta University/Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. This is a full-time, open-rank faculty position and a great opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative group where physicists work closely with radiologists, technologists, residents, and other members of the imaging team.

The position is primarily focused on clinical diagnostic medical physics, including imaging equipment evaluations, QA/QC, regulatory compliance, protocol optimization, patient dose monitoring, CT dose management, and fluoroscopic skin-dose evaluations. The new physicist will have opportunities to teach radiology to residents and to participate in research, scholarly activities, and quality-improvement projects. Candidates should have an MS or PhD in Medical Physics, Engineering, or a related physical science and be ABR certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Medical Physics.
