Nathan and Mark

Thank you for the info! That will be helpful for our IS department. Hopefully if we can get things like this implemented, we will be able to do the full integration.

Thanks again
Joe

Joe,

Good luck with this. I haven’t done this for the written directive, but I have had success building out a form for the Special Medical Physics Consult CPT code within Epic. Within Epic I create a progress note for the patient with the IR AU as a cosigner. Then we added a Smart Text lookup that prepopulates most of the note and I just fill in the specific quantitative values.

Thanks,
Nathan

Hi all

We are trying to move our Y90 microsphere therapy process from paper forms/excel sheets to Epic.

In brevity, we want to have the written directive in Epic, which will get sent to the various stakeholders to enter information and/or sign as the patient goes through the entire scheduling/planning/therapy process.

My Epic team is asking for an example of how this process can be modeled in Epic.

Has anyone successfully implemented such a process in Epic? I have talked to several people, and getting a written directive in Epic for simpler process RPTs like routine Pluvicto is as far as they have gotten. Any information on what processes/methods/epic team/etc you have used would be very helpful (and would likely be helpful for a lot of folks on the list)

Thanks
Joe
