Joe,
Good luck with this. I haven't done this for the written directive, but I
have had success building out a form for the Special Medical Physics Consult
CPT code within Epic. Within Epic I create a progress note for the patient
with the IR AU as a cosigner. Then we added a Smart Text lookup that
prepopulates most of the note and I just fill in the specific quantitative
values.
Thanks,
Nathan

Hi all
We are trying to move our Y90 microsphere therapy process from paper
forms/excel sheets to Epic.
In brevity, we want to have the written directive in Epic, which will get
sent to the various stakeholders to enter information and/or sign as the
patient goes through the entire scheduling/planning/therapy process.
My Epic team is asking for an example of how this process can be modeled in
Epic.
Has anyone successfully implemented such a process in Epic? I have talked to
several people, and getting a written directive in Epic for simpler process
RPTs like routine Pluvicto is as far as they have gotten. Any information on
what processes/methods/epic team/etc you have used would be very helpful
(and would likely be helpful for a lot of folks on the list)
Thanks
Joe
