One also wouldn’t be giving I-131 thyroid ablation to a pregnant person, as the question above the highlighted question indicates.  So it is likely a recycled form.

Isn’t there a treatment for a cancer that usually occurs in toddlers, in which you use roughly 1 Cu of I-131?  Maybe 1 Cu of I-131 could harm an implant?  Though not many toddlers have implants.

My guess is there is a single consent form for all 131-I procedures (including the therapy ablations), which there shouldn’t be. Or they’re recycling a therapy form.
