[Heb-NACO] Arabic articles affixed to names

Good morning folks:

I have an Arabic "El" affixed to a name that's giving me problems יחיא
אלאביץ'.

The name also occurs in Vikipedyah as יחיא אביץ (and it's vocalized, for a
change).

So, what's the AAP and how does "el" factor in, if at all?

1001  Elabyats'? 1001 Abyats' with a 400 Elabyats'? 1001 Abyats with no
xref for Elabyats'?  Maybe 1000 Yihya el-Abyats'?
