Hi Bob,

קוקטייל =  koktail, totally agree.

As for the other word, I’m quite sure it is pronounced “teyl”, only one syllable.

Kol tuv,

Subject: [Heb-NACO] kuf vav kuf tet yud yud lamed -- romanization

Folks:

kuf vav kuf tet yud yud lamed = koktail, right? Not per ES, but I'm at a loss as to how to make sense of what's written.

In ES: tet [tsere] yud [sheva] lamed. I am uncertain how to read this

Is it "tel" or is it "teyel"?

Any help is appreciated.
