[Heb-NACO] Me-hamat or Mehamat

Great question! I would think that since under the compound-word entry
(mehamat) it specifies that it is a combination of min and hamat (dot
under H) that it would be divided as a little word. Also, just based on
typography of the base word (hamat, dot under H) entry, me-hamat is a
common usage of the word, but not the base word itself.

(But is the parenthetical note following the base-word entry, which
indicates that the base word is only found with the prefix, a strong
enough argument for considering the compound-word to be a base word?)

I yield to Joan and the collective wisdom of the group.
