Question about zero-order rate law

Someone asked me about if conc. would appear in the rate law for a zero-order
reaction.  The answer is no.

Let's say you have a reaction, A -> B, which is zero-order in reactant A.

You could write it as,

r = k [A]^0

However, you won't usually see that. Instead, you would usually see,

r = k

When a reaction is zero-order in a reactant or product it usually is left out of the
expression for the rate law.
