We'll be kind of busy once we get to the room. Here's some reminders.
I'll say good luck now.
****************************************************************************
Exam 2 Time and Location (according to lab TA):
-----------------------------------------------

LAB INSTRUCTOR LOCATION
ALLSections 1008 EVANS LAB - (88 W. 18th Ave.)
****************************************************************************
Arrive at least 15 minutes early. We will start promptly at 6:30. If you
are late you will NOT get extra time to finish. You will need all the
allotted time. If you go to a wrong room you will need to find the correct
location even if it means you will be late. You will not get extra time
because you are late due to going to an incorrect room.
Bring an Allowed CALCULATOR (NO other calculators will be allowed)
TI-30XA and TI-30XIIS
You must remove the calc. covers and put them away.
You will *NOT*be allowed to have any of the following out:
Any electronics (including watches) other than a calc. & iPad
Pencil cases
Food (See me if you have a medical condition requiring this)
Drinks (bottles, cans, etc. - speak to me if medically necessary)
No Hats, head coverings or head bands (religious reasons - see me)
You *MUST*bring your OSU ID (BuckID) or some other picture ID. The
picture must be visible and recognizable.
Before the exam or scratch paper is passed out you will need to have your
calculator (without cover), iPad (if using) and ID on your table top.
Other than those things, pencils and erasers, nothing else should be out.
****************************************************************************
Paper Exams:
The TAs will pass out the scantrons.
You need to have your OSU ID #. Most of you will have it on your BuckID
cards (student #). You will use this as your ID number on your answer
sheet. If you don't have a BuckID you can look up your OSU ID number in
Buckeye Link before coming to the exam. Please memorize it or store it in
one of your calculator's memory registers. Without this OSU ID number it
could delay getting your score in Carmen. The TAs will NOT be giving out
OSU ID #'s.
You must also make sure you fill in your name and sign the answer sheet.
This includes bubbling them in on the answer sheet.
They will then pass out the exams and collect your ID. Do NOT start until
we give the signal.
You *MUST* have ALL bubbles filled in when time is over. You will *NOT*be
given extra time to fill in the bubbles after the TA announces the exam
is over. If you do not have the bubbles filled in, the answer sheet will
be collected blank and that is the score you will receive.
When there's 5 min remaining you need to remain in your seats. At the end
of the exam stop writing, hold up both the exam and answer sheet in your
hand and remain seated. The TAs will call you up one at a time one row at
a time. They will collect the exam and scantron and check to see all pages
have been returned and then return your ID.
******************************************************************************
iPad Exams:
*Make sure your iPad is fully charged. Download the midterm before coming**
**to the room.*
The TAs will pass out the scratch paper and collect your IDs. You'll need
to fill in your name and any other information asked for.
Do not start until we give the signal.
When there's 5 min remaining you need to remain in your seats.
At the end of the exam stop working and submit your exameven if there's time
remaining in Examplify. Hold up the iPad and scratch paper in your hand
and remain seated. The TAs will be positioned near your section and
call you
up one at a time one row at a time. They will take your scratch paper and
make sure the exam has been submitted. Then they will return your ID.
