ZNN HLN - exam 2 is over. Yeah! Now time to start ch 7.
Last Thursday we covered 7.1-7.3 and started 7.4. Luckily we
didn't get new material yesterday so if you hadn't looked at the
Ch 7 material you weren't behind. I would suggest you finish
7.1-7.3 (reading and book problems) before tomorrow's lecture.
Tomorrow I'll finish chapter 7 and perhaps start ch 8. I would
suggest skimming 7.4-8.2.
I'm in the process of preparing ch 7 MC homework. At least some
of it will be due this weekend, before next week's quiz. This is
different than usual. Part of the reason I'm doing this is I'm seeing
far too many of you leave all of the MC until after the quiz. You
should be doing end-of-chapter problems each day as we go along
and doing the MC problems before your quiz as a review. I've been
over this in class and e-mails but many of you aren't doing this.
Actually, more than a handful have barely done any MC work. These
are worth 7.5% of your final grade. Plus, doing them before your
quiz will certainly help with the quiz.
