Dear all,

In the current New Yorker (March 20, 2023), the article "Stop the News: Personal News" by Emma Allen features Jennifer Mills, "the editor-in-chief (and only employee) of Jennifer Mills News" (page 16), who writes a personal periodical and whose work is on exhibit until March 19 at Brick Aux Gallery in Williamsburg.

Allen observes in her penultimate paragraph that:

"Mills did not invent the personal-news paper. Notably, a young Virginia Woolf and her siblings produced issues of the Hyde Park Gate News, which once reported that 'Master Adrian Stephen was much disappointed" that he would not be able to sail to the lighthouse" (page 17).
