This competition provides participants with a wonderful opportunity to present their research to a panel of judges and event attendees in an engaging and approachable manner. The challenge…the time limit is 3 minutes!!!

The competition encourages one to think critically about the most important aspects of research, to practice communicating scientific concepts to a broad audience, and to think about how you can get others excited about your research. The participants are food science students at the University of Minnesota (UMN), South Dakota State University (SDSU), North Dakota State University (NDSU), University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison), Iowa State University (ISU), the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and the University of California-Davis.
