Ohio State Service-Learning News
Congratulations to our Pay it Forward participants! June 15th marked the end of this year's Pay it Forward Student Philanthropy program. This is a service-learning project that allows students to solicit proposals and distribute funding to worthy Columbus-area nonprofits. This year, 36 students contributed over 600 hours in service to this program. Through their efforts, they were able to provide over $4,000 in funding to the J. Ashburn Youth Center to support after-school programming and the Council for Healthy Mothers and Babies to improve their client database. Congratulations to our program participants and community grantees!

Tools for Making Service Accessible to All Participants The National Service Inclusion Project (NSIP) is dedicated to making service available to all willing participants, including those with disabilities. This summer they're providing a series of articles and tools to assist those who manage service activities in making them accessible and enjoyable to those with disabilities.
