Folks:
With legislation changes in the air, Ohio education superintendant Paolo
DeMaria shares some thoughts on the proposals in an interview with the
Columbus Dispatch:

His take on parents being charged for textbooks for their children in
College Credit Plus is one prospective change he doesn't welcome. There may
be other changes (not mentioned) that have an impact on gifted ed programs
across the state. Does anyone have insights or observations regarding
Senate Bill 216, which has legislation purportedly designed to reduce state
education regulations? Is there anything parents and/or educators can do to
be heard?
