I really enjoy the old Ealing Studios films. One of my favorite films, that
resonates giftedness, is Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead (1949) with Gary Cooper
and a very beautiful Patricia Neal. Rand's various archetypes of human
character, all of which are variants between Roark, the author's ideal man
of independent-mindedness and integrity, and what she described as the
"second-handers."

only two, simplicity and spirituality.

Cinematherapy time!

"The Man In The White Suit ... followed a common Ealing Studios theme of
the "common man" against the Establishment. In this instance the hero falls
foul of both trade unions and the wealthy mill owners who attempt to
suppress his invention."

With May being such a busy time of the school year, perhaps buzzword bingo
will have to do for now:

And, yes, I take Will's observation seriously.

that number was called "the rate." Anyone who produced more than that number
was called a "rate-buster," and was subjected to pressure, sanctions, and
the like ...
