In the past for Dayton Public Schools there has been one GIS (me) and a coordinator. This year I am still a GIS and the coordinator is part-time coordinator (3 days a week) and part time GIS (two days a week). It is not ideal.

I am curious to know if school districts are having their GIS serve kids and act coordinator as well. If so, how many days a week does the GIS teach and how many days do they spend on coordination? Do you feel like this model works well? Any information and/or opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
