[In response to a criticism of brand placement in Pearson
nonfiction informational test materials, Pearson complains....]

Pearson's dilemma:
"In addition, it should be noted that several assessment programs use only authentic passages and the inclusion of brand names is inevitable. We have verified that several different assessment programs have instances of brand names included due to use of authentic texts."

I may have missed one, but it seems to that in the hundreds of authentic,
nonfiction history books (informational texts) that I have read over the last
thirty years, there was not one product placement or brand name passage...

Could Pearson possibly consider using actual history for its nonfiction
informational text passages on a test? (I have been called a Dreamer)....
