teaching Lu Xun
Dear colleagues:
The MLA is developing a new volume on Lu Xun in the series Approaches to Teaching World Literature. You are cordially invited to help us with a questionnaire and/or submit a proposal for an essay. All respondents are acknowledged in the published volumes. 1. Survey Link:  http://www.mla.org/approaches Survey for Approaches to Teaching the Works of Lu Xun, edited by Christopher Lupke and Alexa Huang 2. If you wish to submit an essay proposal for the volume, please send it by e-mail to Christopher Lupke and Alexa Huang at teachingluxun at gmail.com
Format: Please submit an abstract of approximately 500 words in which you describe your approach or topic and explain its potential efficacy for students and instructors alike. The focus of proposed essays should be pedagogical. Note that if you plan to quote from student writing in your essay, you must obtain written permission from the student to do so. Proposed essays should not be previously published. Abstracts and CVs should be sent to the volume editors by 1 February 2015. Surface mail submissions may be sent to Professor Lupke, Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures, Washington State University, PO Box 2610, Pullman, WA 99164-2610. Thank you for helping in the development of this important project.
best wishes, Alexa Huang
