Thanks for these interesting posts.
The last link in this article takes the clicker to a sina page with a fascinating article where, aside from the weird distraction of ads for anatomical aids that accompanies discussion of cultural confidence, the article concerns the mention in this post of “Visiting a university in Beijing last month” which was Beijing Normal, a key institution to visit when you want to talk about education.
But for me the story should also be about the new term of affection for President Xi: “习大大” which I suppose could be Daddy Xi?
