I noticed that the NYT article mentions that a PLA produced film utilized music from Game of Thrones. I’m curious whether or not a licensing fee was paid to HBO (or whomever owns the copyright to that music)? Though we may never know the answer, whatever it is would speak volumes about this new nationalism in China.
