Li Chengpeng (李承鹏), arguably one of the most famous Sino Weibo users (or
Big Vs, 大V) recently got banned in Sina Weibo (Global Times has a report
on it (see link below). His Sina Blog account was also banned. This
incident, along with yesterday's arrest of Guo Meimei's (郭美美), a
notorious 
flashy rich young lady, because of illegal gambling, is considered by many
Chinese netizens another proof that this government has determined to
reshape Chinese Internet culture. Unlike Li Chengpeng's case, which has
extremely polarized comments from China's New Left and China's New Right,
arrest of Guo Meimei is overwhelmingly applauded among netizens.
