On the first one, I believe that Ben Penny of ANU has written about Shen
Yun - but I never saw the published journal article. You might be able to
email him about that. In the meantime there is a massive amount of
information on their website (http://zh-cn.shenyunperformingarts.org/); in
fact I was poking around there the other day, and the video interviews
they have with some of the dancers are fantastic:
