I have not seen this Hong Kong TV series "Inbound Troubles." But the
Chinese title (老表，你好嘢！) clearly is a reference to the classic 1990s
Hong 
Kong film trilogy "Her Fatal Ways (表姐，你好嘢！)" starring Carol Cheng (鄭裕
玲) as 
a mainland cop who is at sea with the modernity of Hong Kong, who at times
acts boorishly, and who yet proves to be a very endearing and capable
crime fighter. While poking fun at mainlanders, this film series also
emphasize the unity of the Chinese people in mainland, Hong Kong and
Taiwan.
