Clearly, it is a regime that believes that "Might makes right", in effect.
They pursue these policies of illegal repression because they can get away
with it. It is shocking that Western governments, who claim to represent
freedom, democracy, a better way of life and of organising society, say
and do so little against this criminal regime that deprives 1300 million
people of their basic human rights to freedom of public speech. Ten years
for writing a poem! When will people in the West (and indeed, in China)
wake up?
