I’m writing to let you know about Dan Prior’s upcoming reading and discussion of his translation of The Memorial Feast for Kökötöy Khan, a Kirghiz Epic Poem by Saghïmbay Orozbaq uulu. The event will be held on Thursday November 17 from 12:30-1:30 in the Mortarboard Room (202) in Thompson Library. He asked that I let you know about the event, and he hopes to see you!
