[Folkserv] Heads up: Alt-RIght speaker at Ohio Union 5pm today, Tuesday

Hi all -

I'd like to make the community aware that Turning Point OSU has brought Jack Posobiec to campus today, and he will apparently be meeting students in, of all places, the Interfaith and Reflection Room in the Ohio Union at 5pm.

Posobiec is an Alt-Right conspiracy theorist and provocateur with ties to white nationalists. He promotes the White Genocide conspiracy theory and hatred around so-called "groomers." He likes to use white supremacist and Neo-Nazi coded language and dog whistles. I have no idea who's likely to show up to this event. It could be fifteen kids who then go home afterwards. It could be a more potentially violent crowd whom he gets fired up about "protecting the future for white children" before letting them out. People should be able to make informed decisions about whether they want to risk crossing paths with his audience later today.
