[Vwoolf] Purple ink??

Hi Elisa (& what a great find Nicola!!) - most of The Hours ('Mrs
Dalloway') holograph is in Woolf's favored purple ink, with some in black
and a little in blue. Her corrections on the American proof are also in
purple ink.
I would think letters might be the way to ferret out earliest use but I
haven't done that sleuthing myself... rattling around in my brain is a
description of those letters returned to VW by Violet Dickinson. I'll see
if I can track that down.
all the best, mark
