It's merely a strong personal view - a personal view about anything that
represents a work of writing in a different medium, such as a painting
or film or anything else. I feel the same way about novels that riff on
any of Virginia Woolf's books.
People whom I deeply respect feel differently about these things, so
I'll happily withdraw any strong language about it.
But it would be nice to have a current edition that uses the original
semi-abstract cover designed by Vanessa Bell. It's what the author wanted.
