[Vwoolf] Jewish(?) Woolf

To me Craig’s praise of the English and England is deeply weird.  However, I now find that England suits me – but I wouldn’t *recommend* it to anyone.

On the other hand, Jewish warmth v. English chilliness is perfectly illustrated by these 2 Sargent portraits:
