[Vwoolf] Virginia Woolf on John Middleton Murry's poems

Woolf remarks in her diary (17 Oct. 1921) that J. M. Murry's poems (Poems: 1916-20) are "clay-cold castrated costive comatose." Clearly, she did not like his work!


And, although Woolf is being a bit cruel, her remarks are made in private. I laughed out loud and thought others might need a giggle too.
