[Vwoolf] A New Flower Blog

A couple of weeks ago, several of us were wishing that there was a “daily Woolf quote” app that would provide us with a passage from Woolf to meditate on every day. I’ve decided to try to supply that need for a year with quotations usually drawn from my copious lists of flower references in Woolf. So I have put up a new blog:
Woolf in Bloom: A Floral Almanac @ http://woolfbloom.blogspot.com/
Spring here in South Carolina has been so spectacular that I’ve been enjoying taking pictures of local flora, so I am illustrating the blog with pictures I take on my daily walks, as well as images I have collected over many years of looking at gardens and traveling to Woolf sites in UK. I’ll be commemorating important dates in Woolf’s life as well as attempting to highlight flowers according to the British blooming season and to Woolf’s mentions of them in diaries and letters.

For a little variety, today’s entry is not a passage from Woolf but some information on the Flower Trains that used to run from Cornwall to Paddington.

Enjoy,
Elisa
