[Vwoolf] Best biography? Best bibliography?

Of course Lee is definitive, but it’s a big investment of time at 700+ pages.  I have my students start by reading Harris.  It’s genial and balanced, and the footnotes constitute an up-to-date introduction to controversies in Woolf criticism, complete with useful beginning bibliographies. Critically speaking, Lee is a bit dated by now. Also Harris’s book is a delightful production with well-chosen pictures and a good feel in the hand.

What does everyone think of the much shorter bio of Woolf by Alexandra Harris? I know that Lee is the definitive biography, but is Harris adequate if one requires a quicker read?
