Dear Julie;
I'd echo Elisa's perspective on the inclusive nature of the Woolf Conference.

In 2012, and inspired by Anne Fernald and other organizers, we set up both a graduate course and an undergrad course to facilitate conference participation on all levels. In the reflection question on the final exam for the 3rd year WGST class, each student emphasized that one of the most rewarding elements of the experience was being able to take in panels and to interact as full attendees with the very scholars whose work they were citing in assignments. And because their assignments on Woolf came from non-established or -acculturated academic perspectives, they provided a different understanding of institutional power structures and of Woolf's writing and cultural position. Very valuable experience all 'round to have those students involved.

Best,
Ann
