Okay—so how about instead a few short reviews of the performance of Sarah Ruhl's Orlando from the Royal Exchange in Manchester (last performance, March 22, 2014)?

Second that! I just wasted 2 minutes of my life rdg that :( but that's ok, Vara, as I will insist you buy me a drink now in Chicago ;) (and to be honest, I've wasted much more time than that in many more sundry and varied profligate ways!)
Back to grading midterms, essays on Mrs. D, by students very caught up and engaged with all that "stream-of-consciousness stuff."

Nice one Vara!
Just posted to the Tory Telegraph.

Or to have stopped being dazzled by all the stream-of-consciousness stuff in The Waves just long enough to get around to caring what happens to Bernard, Susan, Rhoda, Neville, Jinny, and Louis (all names due for a comeback I’d suggest)? Me neither."
Er, me--typical brainless journalist generalising. Dumb it down, dumb it down. God forbid you should ever assume your readers have a mind.

Hi there,
Does this qualify?
Poignant rewards of the literary biography
Serena Davies praises two biographies that shed fascinating light on their subjects David Foster Wallace and Virginia Woolf, writers at once easy to admire but hard to read

Good morning,
Many thanks to all of you who responded with an offer to copy the table of contents of the Minow-Pinkney collection for me--which looks marvelous, by the way. As it turns out, it's actually a 2014 publication, so it won't go in the bib. until next year! But I greatly appreciate all the help. It also made me aware that the listserv has been very quiet lately. Does anyone have a fun/provocative/interesting comment or query to get us rolling again?
Best,
Kristin
