[Vwoolf] Was VW left-handed?

Hi all, I should know this, but I don't.  Was VW left-handed?

I ask this because in his sketch of VW at the composing table for setting
type, Richard Kennedy shows her holding the composing stick in her right
hand and reaching for type with her left, which is unusual.

Can someone let me know?  Thanks, leslie
