[Somean] website update (fwd)

SoMeaners,

Please read Bridget's message and come on Friday prepared to talk at least 
a bit about the So Mean website and what it should look like.  Websites 
are handy for lots of things, but the main goal is to make us look 
extremely interesting to prospective phd students and prospective 
employers for the ones we have/are.

At today's department meeting, the web committee gave an update on
progress with the new website. You can check out the summary at:

As a reminder, please get your discussion groups involved in the
conversation about reproducible science, our new research resources
module, taxonomy vocabularies, and where to go with your group web pages.

After you have reached a consensus, please have one member of your group
fill out the form at
http://linguistics-s.asc.ohio-state.edu/taxonomy-decisions

We would like feedback from every group, no matter how small. If you are
involved in even a small collaboration and would like your voice to be
heard, we want to hear from you.

And, while we don't want to pressure anyone, it is important that we hear
back from you relatively soon so that we can begin to implement your
decisions.
