[Somean] Speaker for next year

Since my understanding of Mike White's email is that we're open to select anyone from the field of sociolinguistics for this (apologies if I'm mistaken), and since so many of the social meaning people I would think of will be at the colloquium, I'll toss Dennis Preston's name out there. I'd also be interested in Howard Giles, though I'll admit I'm not up-to-date on his most recent work.
