Greetings,

Thanks to everyone present today for bearing with us while IT worked on the projection system. Hopefully you were able use some of that time to get to know your new coworkers. If you missed today’s presentations, you will need to complete the digital alternate versions which are now available on the Prep Lab Forum.

Tomorrow we’ve got two sessions planned.


We’ll begin at 9:00am with part one of window training, how to properly restock items in the labs, how the shelving and labelling system in the prep lab works, and how to properly transport chemicals.


After lunch on your own, we’ll continue our discussions with part two of window training, how to safely refill reagent bottles, how to read gather sheets and complete gathers, and how to complete cart moves between lab sessions.

At this point, if you were present to everything so far and completed all of your online items, you should now be able to completely fill in the front of your orange sheet.

New people: if you had to pay an early move in fee and have not yet talked with me in person about it, please see me tomorrow.
