Hi everyone!

Here are some important nuggets of information for the end of the semester:

Finals Week Hours

This semester, we will not be requiring you to work during finals. If you have the time, and would like the hours, please feel free to drop in. We will be open from 8:00am-6:00pm.

End of Semester Party!

Our party will be on April 23rd at 3:30pm in room 1015 McPherson lab. We have ordered pizza, breadsticks, salad, cookies, soda, and cinnamon bread. Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available. We’ll also use this time to recognize our graduating seniors.

Summer Work

If you intend to work in the prep lab over the summer, please let me know. Currently I have only heard from two students. Over the summer the prep lab is open from 8am-6pm M-F. We have lab on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am-3:00pm.

Fall 2024 Hours

If you plan to work in the prep lab this fall, and you have not done so already, please schedule your hours on Teams. Please remember each person is required to schedule a minimum of 12 hours per week (maximum of 20 hours). Shifts must be at least 2 hours (4 consecutive 30-minute time blocks) or longer. Other arrangements are possible but must be approved by Tyler prior to scheduling.

PPE Baskets

Over the summer will be emptying all of the PPE baskets and wiping them down. If you have any personal items (socks, scrubs, sweatpants, etc.) in your basket and don’t plan to work over the summer, please take these items home. All lab coats will be sent out for cleaning, and all goggles will be trashed. Everyone will get a new pair when they return. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
