Opportunity for LGBTQ Faculty/Staff Association

   Dear all,

    David Zach recently brought to my attention an effort to establish an LGBTQ Faculty/Staff Association at OSU.  This looks like an excellent opportunity to organize efforts at the university.  Below is an excerpt from the email from David given information about how to become involved.

     Some individuals at OSU are working on finalizing a proposal to create an LGBTQ+ Faculty/Staff Association that is officially recognized by the Provost. There were some town hall-style meetings back in February, but I don’t think it was super widely-publicized. Here’s an excerpt from a recent email with instructions for getting onto the listserv for the group:

…Then, in the fall, an official, permanent LGBTQ+ faculty/staff association will be formed at Ohio State.

We won’t be able to celebrate this step as planned in the spring, but be on the lookout for an invitation to a virtual pride event. Please tell your friends and colleagues who are members of the LGBTQ+ community and faculty or staff at Ohio State to subscribe to the listserv here: https://go.osu.edu/lgbtq-fsa-listserv
